基于“社会—大学”视角的大学特色思考

Reflecting the University Features from the Perspective of "Society-University"

现阶段的大学特色研究,多是就大学特色谈论大学特色,这是一个严重的认识误区。其实,大学及其大学特色与经济社会发展需求之间存在着密切的内在关系。大学特色的创造和拓展,究其根本是大学不断适应、满足经济社会发展需求的结果。在"社会—大学"视角下,大学特色应当重点把握四个方面。同时,大学特色是相对稳定与创新发展的有机统一。大学在长期发展过程中,要不断地创造特色和拓展特色,必须科学地处理好二者之间的辩证关系。

The problem existing at present in the research of university features lies in the fact that it is often done from the university itself rather than the social perspective. In fact, university and university features have a consanguineous and inherent relationship with social demands. The creation and development of university features are what universities achieve through their constant meeting and adapting to the developing demand of the economic so- ciety. This paper states that the development of university features should focus on four aspects. It stresses that the forming of the university feature is surely an organic combination of relative steadiness and innovative development, In the long process of development, a university that wants to create and expand its features has to deal with the dialectical relationship between the relative steadiness and innovative development.
