在pH=2.1时,钛(Ⅳ)—二溴茜素紫—吐温80体系于640nm处具有最大吸收,摩尔吸光体系数为4.4×10~4,钛量在2~11μg/25ml范围内符合比尔定律。并与茜紫显色剂体系作了简单比较。
A sensitive color reaction of titanium has been studied at pH 1.5-2.5. Titanium( IV )forms a violet ternary complex with dibromoalizarin violet and Tween 80, which gives a high absorption at 640am, molar absorptivity is 4.4X104. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 2-11ug/ 25ml for Ti( IV ). The composition of the ternary complex is found to be l:2(Ti(IV) : DBAV). The complex is stable within two hrs. It is proved with negative charge by the method of ele-ctrophoresis and ion exchage technique. The system is of excellent selectviity and simple operation.
A procedure for the determination of titanium(IV) in steel by the method of spectrophoto-metry has been suggested.
