据《明史》一段《后妃列传》载:明孝穆纪太后,贺县人,蛮土官女。就为其地属和族属,不少学者不辞辛苦,深入贺县的山山水水寻找其踪迹。林林总总,得出的初步结论是:明孝穆纪太后为贺县(或连山)瑶族,具体特指为当地蛮(瑶)土官的女儿。这是否为真实的结论?本文拟以史料佐证并加以实地考察,同时辅以调研论证,力求应证各方家结论。

According to Ming History, a paragraph from Empress and Queen Biography contains： Emperor Xiaomu＇ s mother JI, He County, a daughter of the local governor. As for her origin and ethnics, there are many scholars entering the mountains and rivers deeply of He county to look for the tracks. Overall, the preliminary conclusion： Emperor Xiaomu＇ s mother JI belongs to Yao and specifically refers specifically to a daughter of the local Man （Yao） governor. Whether this is true conclusion or not？ This paper is intended to be historical evidence with field investigation, supplemented by research and demonstration for the conclusions from all professionals.
