摘要
唐文治在交通大学任职期间(1907—1920),不遗余力地引进西方科学教育,同时将传统文化教育资源与现代大学教育相互融合,寓传统文化教育于科学教育之中,追求工科教育的本土化,力图探索出一条符合中国历史文化和具体国情的现代教育模式。这是唐文治教育思想的核心内容和鲜明特点,也是我国教育现代化发展的一项重要内容和可贵财富。
When TANG Wen-zhi acted as president of Jiao Tong University from 1907 to 1920,he tried his best to introduce into the western scientific education and simultaneity to inosculate between traditional culture education resources and modern university education,and to blend the traditional culture education into the scientific education.Tang pursued the localization of engineering education,tried to explore a modern education mode of fitting China's historical culture and Chinese situation.It is the core content and obvious characteristic of Tang's educational idea,and also is an important content and treasure of education modernization in China.
