Therapeutic effect of zoledronic acid combined with radiotherapy in the treatment of spinal metastases

摘要 目的研究唑来膦酸联合放疗治疗脊柱转移瘤疼痛的临床疗效。方法将124例脊柱转移瘤患者随机分为唑来膦酸联合放疗组﹙56例﹚,单纯放疗组﹙40例﹚,单纯唑来膦酸组﹙28例﹚进行治疗,并观察比较各组止痛及改善活动能力效果。结果治疗结束时唑来膦酸联合放疗组与单纯唑来膦酸组止痛效果差异有显著性﹙<0.05﹚,但唑来膦酸联合放疗组与单纯放疗组止痛效果差异无显著性﹙>0.05﹚;随访2个月后唑来膦酸联合放疗组止痛效果及活动能力改善均较单纯放疗组及单纯唑来膦酸组明显,差异有显著性﹙<0.05﹚。结论唑来膦酸联合放疗治疗脊柱转移瘤疗效优于单纯放疗或单纯唑来膦酸治疗,可明显提高患者疼痛缓解率,延长疼痛缓解时间,显著改善患者活动能力,是治疗脊柱转移瘤的理想方案。 Objective To observe the effect ofzoledronic acid combined with radiotherapy in the treatment of spinal meta stases. Methods A total of 124 patients with spinal metastases were randomly divided into three groups. The treatment were carried on in treatment group ( 56 patients received zoledronic acid combined with radiotherapy ~and control group ( 40 patients received only radiotherapy and 27 patients received only zoledronie acid )respectively, and pain release and activity improving were evaluated at the end of therapy. Results At the end of therapy, total effectiveness rate of pain release in three groups was 89.3%, 82.5% and 67.9% respectively. There were significant difference in pain release between the zoledronic acid combined with radiotherapy groups and only zoledronic acid therapy groups ( P〈0.05 ). But there were no statistically difference in pain release between the zoledronie acid combined with radiotherapy groups and only radiotherapy groups ( P〉0.05 ). After 2 months, treatment group was superior to control group in the pain release ( P〈0.05 )and activity improving (p〈0.05 ). Conclusion The effect of zoledronic acid combined with radiotherapy in the treatment of spinal metastases was better than only radiotherapy, or only zoledronic acid therapy. The methods, which can significantly improve the response rate in patients with pain, prolong pain relief time, and improve activity, was the ideal proposal in treating spinal metastases.
