语法翻译教学法的迁移理据

摘要 语法翻译教学法历史悠久,直到今天仍被广泛采用,表现出旺盛的生命力。这除了是由于该教学法自身突出的长处以外,不同阶段的语言迁移研究也为在外语教学过程中使用语法翻译教学法提供了理论依据。这些研究都证明了目的语习得过程中母语迁移的客观存在。所以在目的语教学过程中实施语法翻译教学法,适当使用母语,比较目的语和母语的异同,有助于学习者深刻掌握目的语,从而达到事半功倍的效果。 The Grammar- Translation Teaching Method has a long history. Today it is still widely used, showing great vitality. This is partly due to the striking advantages of the method itself. In addition, first language transfer studies in different periods provide theoretical support to the popularity of the method as well. All these researches prove the objective existence of the first language transfer in second language acquisition. It is sensible, in the process of teaching the target language, to apply the Grammar - Translation teaching method, use the first language properly and compare the differences and similarities between the target language and the first language, since these can help students grasp the tar- get language more clearly and deeply with less efforts.
