摘要
班级如同一只木桶,辅导员就是桶底,全班同学构成了那长短不一的桶壁,班干部就是桶箍。短板的高度决定盛水的多少;桶箍可以缩小缝隙,稳固整体。辅导员要通过教育和管理,不断提高每位学生的综合能力和思想素质,要重点关注"短板"学生,善于发现短中之长,激励学生扬长避短;学生干部要团结协作起到班集体的凝聚作用。
A class is like a barrel. The advisor is the bottom of it, the students make the wall com-posed of slats of varying lengths and the class leaders function as the hoops. While the shortest slat determines the capacity of the barrel, the hoops tighten the wall and secure the whole body. The advi-sor must work to improve every individual student' s comprehensive ability and ideological quality, giving more attention to the "shorter slat" students. The advisor should be good at finding and en-eouraging merits in students and the student cadres should make concerted efforts to create a united collective.
