中国—东盟博览会志愿者跨文化敏感能力的测评与培训

Assessing and Training of Intercultural Sensitivity of Volunteers for China-ASEAN Expo

跨文化敏感指的是跨文化能力在情感层面的体现。本文以中国—东盟博览会志愿者为调查对象,定量测评其跨文化敏感度水平及影响因素。调查发现,志愿者在自信心、移情能力以及不急于下结论方面得分较高,但自我监控与参与意识较低;本科生的跨文化敏感度显著性高于大专生。据此,本文提出了志愿者招聘及培训工作的建议。

Intercultural sensitivity is the emotional aspect of intercultural competence. The current study takes the volunteers for China-ASEAN Expo as subjects, quantitatively measures their intercultural competence level and studies the factors influencing the level. It is found that the volunteers＇ got relatively high scores in self-esteem, empathy and suspending judgment, low scores in self-monitoring and interaction involvement. Educational background influences the sensitivity level significantly. Based on the above result, this paper has proposed specific methods for the recruiting and training of volunteers for China-ASEAN Expo.
