On Xunzi's Tour Outlook

荀子在广泛的游历实践中实现了他的游乐观与儒家游文化的统一。荀子的游乐观渗透着儒家重仁、重孝、重义等文化内涵和重入世而轻出世的游乐思想,这充分体现在荀子对游乐与山水、孝道、交际、享乐、政治之间关系的论述当中。荀子的游乐观与儒家的游乐思想一脉相承,并对韩非子有一定的影响,这对儒家游文化的赓续起到了重要作用。

Xunzi achieved the integration of his tour outlook with Confucian tour culture during his extensive travel practice.His tour outlook was permeated with his cultural connotation of Confucian benevolence,filiality and righteousness,which was fully embodied in his exposition of relationship between tour and mountain river,filiality,social communication,enjoyment and politics.Xunzi＇s tour outlook can be traced to the same origin of Confucian tour thoughts,which affected his student Han Feitzu.This played an important role in the continuation of Confucian tour culture.
