Biofeedback therapy has a high efficacy and no adverse effects,and become one of the first-line treatments for chronic constipation,especially for functional defecation disorders.However,there are several factors that could interfere in assessing the efficacy of biofeedback therapy for chronic constipation in publications.In this review,we will discuss how to evaluate the efficacy according to the evidences.
