During the period of May Fourth Movement, Guo Moruo was influenced by many aspects of Christian culture. His works showed Christian fundamentalism differently, especially repentant complex. As Guo Moruo was rooted in traditional Chinese culture and the themes of times changed constantly these made him focus on dual pursuit of self-sublimation and national salvation and achieve repentant development process of self-family-community, which showed the close ties between Guo Moruo＇s literary creation and Christianity.
