The main role of crash sleds is to improve vehicle development efficiency, providing reductions in overall cost and timing. In order to obtain the range of results the crash simulation sled system must be able to perform the various types of tests as well as provide a high grade of automation and flexibility. Delivering additional correlation between barrier and sled testing, IST have developed and proven in practice systems for simulating most kind of movements during crash events and so achieve a wide range of sled applications..
