The paper indicates the open caisson foundation is one of the adopted main foundation forms of the river-spanning bridges along Yangtze River,analyzes the main risks of the open caisson foundation construction along the river by combining with the engineering examples,identifies the supervision programs of the safety supervision,and designs the test points allocation of the supervision programs,so as to provide the safe construction of the open caisson foundation.
