On the Constituents of Economic Logic Applied by the U.S.A

一个国家在世界经济体系中追求最大化利益的条件是,政府财政预算平衡和国际收支平衡、本币汇率稳定与维护自由贸易原则,这也是国家经济逻辑的基本构成要素。然而,美国政府秉承的经济逻辑则与此相反:它将财政赤字作为经济增长的引擎,认为贸易逆差是经济健康发展的标志,利用国际储备货币操纵汇率以及凭借霸权地位践踏自由贸易原则,从而在世界经济体系中谋求美国的最大化利益。

Conditions to gain the maximum interest in global economy for a nation include government＇s fiscal balance,balance of international payment,stable home currency rate and the intention of upholding principles of free trade.All these are also the major factors that constitute national economic logic.However,government of the U.S.A has applied a completely opposite economic logic to seek for its maximum interest in the world economy： it regards financial deficit as the engine of economic growth and believes trade deficit is a mark of healthy development of economy;it controls exchange rates by using international currency reserve and even tramples principles of free trade by its hegemonic status.
