摘要
高质量交通数据是智能交通系统(ITS)有效发挥其功能的基础,建立一套数据质量评价体系是ITS数据质量管理的基本要求。文中采用客观评价法,以固定型车辆检测设备采集的基础交通数据为对象,通过分析引起基础交通数据质量降低的主要原因以及数据质量问题的主要表现,建立评价基础交通数据质量的多维指标体系(即完整性、有效性、准确性、实时性)及其评价方法。研究成果已成功应用于上海市道路交通信息采集系统对基础交通数据质量的评价。
High-quality traffic data is the basic requirement for the applications of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) to perform its functions. It is essential for ITS industries or administration departments to set up a set of rules to measure traffic data quality. The objective of this paper is to develop a framework of data quality measurement by using objective evaluation method to enable traffic data collectors and users to determine the quality of traffic data collected by the road-side vehicle detectors. This paper recommends four fundamental measures (i. e. , completeness, validity, accuracy and timeliness) of traffic data quality after analyzing the characteristics and reasons for the low quality of the traffic data. This paper also provides methodologies for calculating the data quality metrics. Research results have been successfully applied to ITS projects in Shanghai.
