With the development of modem technology and the emergence of the Internet, however, the readers have more available accesses to gaining the information. As a result, there is a sharp decline in their demands for the traditional newspaper collections, and piles of newspapers are left without anybody to care for. Under such a circumstance, it is necessary to cancel the newspaper collections in the library, and also it is a right choice to deeply develop the electronic newspaper in the future collection building of the library.
