Application of New Technology for Thread Metrology in Defense Industry Manufacturing

简要介绍了螺纹的单一中径和作用中径的定义,以及影响作用中径的要素。对目前螺纹通止规的检测方法进行了总结,并指出了其存在的不足。对新型螺纹检测仪作了简要说明,并结合在生产工序中出现的问题,以及问题的解决过程,说明了该螺纹检测仪的功能及应用前景。

This paper briefly described the definition of the pitch diameter and functional diameter, and factors which decides the function diameter. Disadvantage of current method using GO/No go gauge were also discussed. A new method of variable thread gage was introduced. This paper illustrated some applications, processes and successes in the manufacturing quality control with the new method and predicted the potential of the new technology.
