Honneth's Inheritance and Development of Hegel's Recognition Theory

黑格尔的承认思想是霍耐特承认理论得以形成的重要资源。解读黑格尔的承认思想,对于准确把握霍耐特在《为承认而斗争》中如何继承了黑格尔的承认思想,又是如何超越了黑格尔,并进而建构起他自己的承认理论至为重要,从三方面对此加以了论证和说明:一是对黑格尔承认思想的解读;二是对霍耐特在黑格尔承认思想的继承与发展方面所作贡献的认识和把握;三是对霍耐特承认理论创新的批判反思。

Hegel's idea of recognition is a very important theoretic source for Honneth's theory of recognition.Therefore,an analysis of Hegel's recognition theory would be of extreme significance for an accurate understanding of how Honneth inherits Hegel's recognition theory in his book The Struggle for Recognition,surpasses Hegel,and constructs his own theory of recognition.In that connection,argumentation and exposition will be made from three aspects: first of all,our analysis of what Hegel's recognition theory is;secondly,our comprehension of how Honneth contributes to the inheritance and development of Hegel's recognition theory;thirdly,a critical reflection on Honneth's innovation in his recognition theory.
