Designs of Residential Districts in Small Towns Applicable to Hot-Summer-and-Cold-Winter Areas——Taking Small Towns of Southern Jiangsu as an Example

降低建筑能耗是当前我国建设资源节约型社会的关键,是必须要遵循的可持续发展原则.通过对夏热冬冷地区气候特征的认识,从建筑的外部自然条件论述夏热冬冷地区小城镇住宅区规划与气候适应性设计,总结出该地区住宅区气候适应性设计策略.

Reduction of building energy use is currently considered essential for creating a resource-efficient society and a cardinal principle to adhere to in accomplishing a sustainable development. From the point of view of external building conditions, this paper discusses the design of residential districts of small towns to adapt to the climate characterized as hot summer and cold winter. Design strategies of climate adaptability applicable to residential districts in such areas are summarized.
