禁忌是关于神圣或不洁的约定俗成的一种禁制。女性禁忌有两方面的涵义:一方面女性被认为是崇高的、神圣的,而被"神化";另一方面则被认为是邪恶的、不洁的,而被"魔化"。女性禁忌经历了从母权制时代的"尊崇女性"到父权制时代的"贱视女性"的历史演变过程,随着时代的发展、人类文明的进步,女性禁忌将逐渐退出人类的历史舞台,女性禁忌的日渐式微就是女性禁忌走向衰亡的一个生动缩影。
Taboo is a custom of prohibition as considering holiness or unholiness of something. Taboo on women has two aspects： one is that women are considered to be noble that women are evil and unholy, and to be demonized. Taboo on gone through the system of matriarchy in which women were res and holy, even to be women has changed deified, but the other is in the historical process pected and worshiped to that of patriarchy in which they were despised and discriminated. With the times changing and human civilization advancing, taboo on women are disappearing in the history of mankind.
