中国古代小说中存在着明显的道德说教倾向,成为古代小说的一个特色。这种道德说教倾向有着深刻的思想根源,承袭了儒家文以载道的文艺观。古代小说的地位历来比较低下,为了提高小说的地位,作者有意将教化内容融入作品之中。而教化成分的融入,使得小说传播的范围更为扩大,影响力也有所增加。

The ancient Chinese novel,there exists obvious moralizing tendency which has become a feature of the ancient novel.This moralizing tendency has deep ideological roots,inheriting the Confucian text as a vehicle of literature and art.The position of the ancient novel has always been relatively low.In order to improve the status of the novel,the author intends to melt the contents into the works,thus making the novel expanding the scope of communication and its influence increasing.
