从言语风格角度谈《红楼梦》中人物语言的翻译

On the Translation of the Characters' Words of Dream of Red Mansions from the Stylistic Perspective of Language

文学作品中人物的语言对于人物个性的塑造起着至关重要的作用。《红楼梦》中人物众多,许多人物的语言具有较强的个性化。翻译时不仅要努力做到内容上忠实原文,表达上尽量保持与原文一样流畅,而且要在风格上实现原文与译文的对等。在翻译《红楼梦》人物语言时,译者必须考虑相对权势、文化素养、人物个性等多种因素,正确选择词语和句式,再现原作中人物语言的言语风格。

In literary works the characters＇ words play an essential role in the creation of individual personalities.Dream of Red Mansions depicts numerous characters,and many of them have strongly-individualized words.Good translation should be loyal to the original in content,as smooth as the original in expression,and equal to the original in style.In translating the characters＇ words,the translator should take the following factors into consideration： relative power,cultural cultivation,individual personality and so on.In addition,by selecting accurate words,expressions as well as appropriate sentence structures,the translator is able to convey the original style of the characters＇ words.
