The relationship between Chinese traditional culture and modern design is the foundation and extension.Chinese traditional culture is the deposition of China five-thousand-year cultural thought which has great historical charm.In today＇s rapidly developing society,more and more designers are trying to find sources of inspiration and design from the traditional culture.Traditional arts such as bronze in the modern design should be promoted and made full use of.Bronze as important representatives of our traditional art is one of the Slavery Society items expressing power and class.It sets modeling,sculpture,painting and other art as a whole,with a high practical value and artistic value.Bronze culture was the most prosperous during the period of late Shang Dynasty and the early Western Zhou.The lines decoration of bronze as beautiful bronze dress and language was the most attractive and became the soul of the Shang bronze.The solemn and heavy patterns filled with subtle mystery and horror carry some solemn dignity of the artistic features and represent the beauty of the Shang bronze,which is worthy of the model of decorative arts.
