摘要
采用蒸发溶液法(VPM)在磁头表面制备了1H,1H,2H,2H-全氟癸烷基三氯硅烷(FDTS)自组装膜(SAM)。使用时间飞行二次离子质谱仪(TOF-SIMS)、接触角测量仪和原子力显微镜(AFM)对FDTS自组装膜进行表征,并采用磁头启停(CSS)实验对其摩擦学性能进行了测试。实验结果表明,采用VPM制备的FDTS自组装膜能够极大地降低读写过程中磁头的摩擦磨损,黏着力保持小于19.6mN。经过20 000次启停循环后,磁头表面依然能保持清洁,摩擦力在正常工作范围内。
A self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of 1H, 1H, 2H, 2H-perfluorodecanetrichorosilanes (FDTS) has been prepared on the magnetic head with a vapor phase method(VPM). Time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (TOF-SIMS), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and contact angle meas- urement were used to characterize the FDTS SAM, and tribological properties of magnetic head with FDTS SAM were evaluated in a contact start stop (CSS) test. The experimental results show that FDTS SAM fabricated with the VPM can greatly reduce friction and wear of magnetic head during read-write process. Adhesion of the magnetic head maintained less than 19.6 mN in the CSS test. Magnetic head surface kept clean and the friction value of magnetic head was in the working range after magnetic head experienced 20 000 cycles CSS test.
