BASF, the world＇s leading chemical company and the leading supplier of Polyurethane System Solutions worldwide, began the construction of its new Polyurethane System House in Tianjin, China, further expanding its global service and production network. The new facility will be located in Tianji,1 Economic-Technological Development Zone, covering 3.4 hectares. BASF is one of the biggest foreign investors in the Chinese chemical industry, with a total investment of 3.8 billion euros in China since 1990.
