基于Pxa270的WinCE系统Eboot改进设计

摘要 针对Pxa270为核心处理器的WinCE嵌入式系统,当采用常用的Nor Flash本地运行模式时,总线效率低下,导致系统性能偏低,不能满足视频流畅播放的问题,在硬件平台不变的基础上,对Eboot软件进行改进设计,消除了系统性能瓶颈。通过在Eboot中改进处理器时钟配置,提高总线带宽,同时,改进了启动加载流程,实现了在SDRAM中运行WinCE软件,提高总线利用效率,进一步提高了系统性能。相比改进前,系统性能有了较大提升,能够胜任较高位速视频的播放。改进设计在实际手持信息终端的应用中取得了一定效果。 In the pxa270-based WinCE embedded systems, when using the mode of XIP that CPU executes code in the Nor Flash memory, the system has low bandwidth and can not afford video playing task. To deal with this problem, two ways are used to eliminate the performance bottleneck without changing hardware platform. By reconfiguring processor clock in Eboot, the bus bandwidth is improved. And by Optimizing the process of the boot loader, WinCE software could perform faster as it' s executed in SDRAM. Thus the system performance is improved. Compared with before, the system has been greatly improved and is able to play high bit rate video. All this work has been put into practice and obtain good effect.
