Brief Discussion of Value Education and Responsibilities of Communist Youth League

价值教育是现代学校的基本任务,作为社会主义学校的重要组成部分,学校共青团应自觉担负起青少年价值教育的重要职责。为更好履行价值教育使命,学校共青团应该力求做到:准确把握价值教育的基本内涵;牢牢抓住政治价值共识这个根本目的;紧紧围绕价值冲突这个关键点;优化价值教育方法;加强学习,大力提升教育者自身价值素养。

Value education is the basic task of modern education. The Communist Youth League in schools, as an essential constitution of socialist schools, should voluntarily shoulder the responsibilities of value education for adolescents. To better perform the mission of value education, the Communist Youth League in schools should take efforts to accomplish several tasks, including grasping the essence of value education accurately, seizing the funda- mental aim of political consensus on values tightly and centering on the key of value conflict closely. Based on the optimization of value education methodology, Communist Youth League should emphasize the importance of learning so as to improve the quality of educators.
