摘要
宗白华一生最主要的工作,可以概括为对于从中国传统范畴出发建构现代性美学体系之可能性的探索。宗白华的这种探索就他本身来说,还基本处于开端状态,却毫无疑问,这个开端对后此中国美学研究的发展方向,提供了重要启示。从20世纪80年代以后叶朗、汪裕雄、朱良志等学者有关中国美学的研究成果中,我们能够切实体会到宗白华式选择的影响力。推而言之,张世英晚年对于中西方哲学困惑和未来方向的思考,王树人对传统"象思维"现代性意义的探索,也可以某种程度上理解为对宗白华美学建构模式的客观性支持。
Zong Baihua devoted his life mainly to exploring the possibility of constructing modem esthetic system from Chinese traditional category. To Zong Baihua himself, that was just a beginning, but undoubted- ly, it offered important cues for the direction of Chinese esthetic research. From the researches of Yelang, Wang Yuxiong and Zhu Liangzhi of the late 1980s, we can see the influence of Zong Baihua. Consequently, the confusion and consideration of the philosophy home and abroad in the late years of Zhang Shiying and the probe into the traditional iconicity ideology of Wang Shuren, also revealed their support for the construction model of Zong Baihua esthetics.
