摘要
短语动词是中国英语教学的重点和难点。通过对比中国学习者英语语料库和LOCNESS语料库,发现在中国英语学习者写作的过程中,语义透明的短语动词存在一定程度的超用,而比喻义的短语动词则存在一定程度的使用回避现象。所有存在使用回避现象的短语动词,其使用频率随着学习者英语水平的提高而增加,但仍远低于母语学习者。
Phrasal verb is very important and difficult in English learning.Chinese Learner English Corpus is compared with LOCNESS in this study.It is found that transparent phrasal verbs are overused to some extent while figurative ones are underused in Chinese English learners' compositions.The frequency of all the underused phrasal verbs is positively correlated to the level of Chinese English learners.However,even the highest level learners still use phrasal verbs much less frequently than the natives do.
