"The Crisis of History" and the Reform of History Curriculum in Australian Universities in the End of the 20th Century

20世纪90年代,澳大利亚高校历史专业经历了一场"史学危机",这场危机推动了各高校历史专业为生存与发展而进行的课程改革。改革的特点是:增加开课的领域,新开设的课程往主题化、专题化、跨学科方向发展,宏观世界史或全球史课程占有重要地位。这种改革对我国高校历史学科的发展具有借鉴意义。

There was a ＂crisis of history＂ in Australian universities in the 1990s,which promoted the reform of undergraduate history curriculum in Australia.The characteristics of the reform are as follows： more fields of history are offered to students by Australian universities,the new offered history courses present some new trends which shift towards thematic histories and cross-disciplinary courses,and world history or global history are becoming popular courses.Such reform can be used for reference to the development of history discipline in Chinese universities.
