Nowadays every higher vocational college has conducted career guiding and counseling according to its own characteristic.This paper focuses on approaches and methods to improve teachers＇ career guiding and counseling competence based on the state quo and problems in higher vocational college.Only in that way,teachers can provide efficient career guidance and counseling for students to enhance its quality in higher vocational college.
