理性与非理性的统一,是健康人格发展中必须关注的问题。理性与非理性是人之为人的本质存在,偏重任意一方都会将人的发展引向片面。人类文明发展史上理性与非理性交织发展的特征及其所遇到的难题和困境,在西方文化中表现得尤为鲜明。其发展的历程表明,健康人格是理性与非理性二者的统一。当今中国社会的健康发展,需要理性与非理性的高度融合、协调发展,因此,培养健康的人格,注重人格心理的全面发展,是教育的核心,也是社会长治久安的根本保证。

The Unity of rationality and irrationality must be of concern in development of healthy personality.Rationality and irrationality are essentials that distinguish man from other animals,and any overemphasis on either side would produce one-sided human development.Those features of the intertwined rational and irrational development and problems and difficulties encountered in the history of human civilization development have been particularly sharp in the western culture.The course of its development shows that healthy personality is the unity of both rationality and irrationality.The sound development of Chinese society today calls for a close integration and coordinated development of rationality and irrationality;therefore,it is the core of education and the fundamental guarantee for stability in our society to develop a healthy personality by focusing on a comprehensive development of personality and psychology.
