摘要
"恶来"是《史记·秦本纪》中记载的秦族先祖之一。"恶来"实即"亚来",属于商代晚期习见的"官职+私名"称谓方式。"亚"作为官职名称属于商人系统,西周中期以后几乎不见,因此"恶(亚)来"这一称谓可以印证司马迁《史记.秦本纪》中关于秦族起源于东方商人系统的记载的可靠性。
E Lai is one of the ancestors of Qin aristocracies recorded in Historical Records.The so-called E Lai in fact should be Ya Lai,which conforms to the traditional naming practices in the late period of Shang Dynasty.As the name of official post,Ya was popular in Shang Dynasty,and disappeared after the middle period of Western Zhou Dynasty.Consequently,the way of naming of Ya Lai supports the view that Qin aristocracies ancestors originate in the Orient.
