摘要
本文简要介绍了竞技运动术语及其特点,从关联理论的视角出发,探讨了关联理论与翻译效度之间的内在关系,分析了影响竞技运动术语翻译的主要因素,从创设相似趋同的认知语境、寻求丰富生动的文化形象、运用灵活的语言表达技巧、熟知竞技体育的相关知识等方面,提出了提高竞技运动术语翻译效度的具体策略。本研究对提高体育文献和体育资料翻译质量有一定的启发作用。
This paper briefly introduces the sports terminology and its features from the perspective of relevance theory, tries to explore the relationship between relevance theory and translation validity and analyzes major factors affecting the translation of sports terminology. Meanwhile, it hopefully offers specific strategies to improve the translation of sports terminology from aspects such as creating a similar cognitive context, exploring lively cultural images, applying flexible expression skills and mastering relevant knowledge of sports. It is an enlightening paper in improving the translation of sports documents and materials.
