摘要
2008年,琴嘎参加意大利佛罗伦萨的一个中国当代艺术展。在展览中,总策展人以琴嘎的作品是用动物皮毛制作的为由,拒绝了他的作品展出。琴嘎当机立断,即兴地在开幕式现场表演了一次偶发行为。这次经历是本次访谈中最为生动的事例,因为它微观地反映了中国当代艺术在国际舞台上随时出现的冲突和调解,还有不妥协。
When we speak about contemporary sculpture,we shouldn't only pay attention to its styles,or forms,or theories,we should also pay close attention to how the contemporary artists survive in the modern society,and how their live styles have changed over the years.Qin Ga has a theory that maybe the living conditions and other details in the artist's daily life are affecting their thought process;maybe the artists are unknowingly projecting their life experiences onto their works.
