新疆新时期报告文学创作与同期全国报告文学相比,突出表现为以国家意识统摄,展现西部新疆人与自然、人与祖国、人与人相处的家园意识、英雄精神、生命真谛、心理特质,从而使新疆新时期报告文学具有强烈的地域性与文化性。

Different from the reportage in other regions of China, Xinjiang reportage focuses on the national identity. It includes the consciousness of homestead, heroism and the essence of life as well as the mental characteristic of people in Xinjiang in their relationship with nature, motherland, and within themselves. The paper attempts to discuss the regional and cultural features of Xinjiang reportage in the new period.
