摘要
旅游景区的公示语好比景区的明信片,直观形象地向游客展示该旅游景点的文化底蕴、人文素养,并给予游客必要的提示。基于对台州市六大国家4A级旅游景区的实地调查,发现公示语翻译中文化内涵传达不到位、拼写错误、用词不当、语法错误等译文不规范现象比比皆是,给外国游客带来了极大的不便,某种程度上有损台州的城市形象。因此本文将详细探析这些问题,并在管理、定位、翻译策略等几个方面提出解决的方案。
The public signs in the scenic spots are just like post cards, which not only show the tourists their inherited culture and humanistic literacy, but also provide necessary instruction for them. Based on the survey of six national 4A tourism scenic spots in Taizhou, numerous translation problems occur, such as the inappropriate way of conveying culture, the spelling mistakes, the misuse of words and grammatical mistakes, thus bringing much inconvenience to foreign tourists and to some extent spoils the urban image of Taizhou. Consequently, this paper is designed to elaborately explore these problems and propose solutions in the following aspects, like management, orientation and translation strategies.
