摘要
毫米波光学生成技术是光载射频(ROF)通信中的关键技术之一,基于光学方法的毫米波信号已成功用于超宽带毫米波通信、测量、传感网络、军用雷达等民用和军用系统。为此介绍了ROF系统中毫米波副载波的几种常见产生方法(包括直接强度调制、外部强度调制、上变频和光学自外差),并对其优缺点进行了分析比较。
Millimeter-wave optical generation technology is one of the key technologies in radio-over-fiber (ROF). Millimeter-wave signals based on optical methods have been successfully used in ultra-wideband millimeter-wave communications, measurement, sensor networks, military radar and other civilian and military systems. Several common methods for millimeter-wave generation, including direct intensity modulation, external intensity modulation, up-conversion, and optical self-heterodyne, in ROF are presented. Their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed and compared.
