“旅游是你生活的一部分，购买旅游保险可以让你的旅行回到正确的轨道上。”这是美国全国保险公司（Nationwide）在旅游保险这一栏中的广告词。然而，存现实生活中，无论是跟团游还是自助游，许多人都无法让“旅行回到正确的轨道上”。

In recent years, because of the high-risk nature of tourism, travel insurance is getting more and more attention with the growth in China’s tourism industry. However, there are still some problems in China’s travel insurance market, such as the lack of flexibility in the design of the insurance products and the lack of diversity in distribution channels. China lags far behind in the development of travel insurance, which is difficult to meet the rapid growth in the demand of China’s tourism industry. At present, both the regulatory authorities and travelers pay insufficient attention to travel insurance. Furthermore, insurance companies are not motivated enough to tap the market.
