随着高宽带业务的出现,用户对于接入带宽的需求逐渐增加,推动了传统PON技术向下一代PON技术的发展。ITU-T于2005年启动了下一代PON标准的研究。目前,10G GPON的主要标准已正式发布,这必将加快10GGPON的商用进程。本文对10G GPON的技术优势作了介绍,阐述了10G GPON的关键技术和标准进展,并对GPON向10G GPON的演进过程进行了总结。10G PON技术紧跟光接入技术发展的步伐,满足了用户对于带宽不断增长的需求,在光接入网络未来的发展中将具有更为广阔的前景。
With the emergence of higher broadband services, requirements on broadband access are increasing, which promotes the development from traditional PON technology to the next generation PON technology. In 2005, ITU-T starts to the study of the next generation PON. At present, the main recommendations of 10G GPON have been published, so it will speed up the deployment process.
