岛崎藤村的长篇小说《家》既是日本现代家族小说的代表性作品,也是日本家族文化的典范性文本。本文对《家》的家族悲剧的研究,尽量突显其文化内涵的日本特性,以此抵达对作品意义的解读。《家》叙述的悲剧是拯救家业的悲剧,是消极承受的悲剧,是"家"拖累、放逐"家中人"的悲剧,由此揭示出日本近代家族制度所存在的文化症结。
