血浆睾酮水平变化对中老年男性高血压患者颈动脉内中膜厚度的影响

Effect of plasma endogenous testosterone level in aged male with hypertension on carotid artery intima thickness

目的探讨血浆睾酮水平与中老年男性原发性高血压患者颈动脉粥样硬化程度的相关性。方法 65例中老年男性患者分为正常对照组(n=20)和原发性高血压组(n=45),后者又分为无斑块组(n=20)和有斑块组(n=25),分析各组血浆睾酮水平的变化与颈动脉硬化的相关性。结果原发性高血压组血浆睾酮水平明显低于正常对照组(P<0.05),随着睾酮水平的下降,颈动脉内中膜厚度升高,动脉硬化的程度不断加重,但与斑块的发生无相关性。结论中老年男性高血压患者血浆睾酮水平下降加速颈动脉粥样硬化程度,雄激素补充治疗可能为降低中老年男性动脉粥样硬化的发生提供新的方法。

Objective To investigate whether plasma testosterone（T） level in aged male with essential hypertension is related with carotid artery atherosclerosis.Methods 65 cases aged male were divided into two groups： 20 cases as normal control group and 45 patients with essential hypertension,which were divided into 20 patients without plaques and 25 cases with plaques group,analyzed whether the changes in sex hormone levels in each group was associated with carotid atherosclerosis.Results Plasma T level in 45 patients was significantly lower than that in the control group,with the decline of the T levels,carotid artery intima thickness（IMT） increased and so did the extent of atherosclerosis,but little to the occurrence of plaque.Conclusion The decreased endogenous androgen levels in the aged male with hypertension accelerate the degree of carotid atherosclerosis,the male hormone replacement therapy may provide new approach in reducing atherosclerosis.
