Roots and remedies of social organizations' corruption in China

社会组织已成为推动我国经济和社会发展的重要力量,但由于体制不清、法律不全、监管不力等原因,社会组织滋生的腐败越来越频繁并逐步为社会所关注。而要从根本上解决社会组织的腐败问题,保证社会组织的健康发展,关键是构建防治社会组织腐败的惩防体系并建立与之相应的组织管理机制、宣传教育机制、保障支持机制、法制规范机制、内部约束机制、外部监控机制等六大运行机制。

Social organizations have become important forces of China＇s economic and social devel- opment. Owing to ineffective system, insufficient legislation and inadequate supervision, social organizations＇ corruption has intensified, which has been increasingly concerned by the society. To ensure the healthy development of the social organizations, remedies to the social organizations＇ cor- ruption are explored. The key remedy to the social organizations＇ corruption is to build an active working system of prevention and punishment of the social organizations＇ corruption and to establish six corresponding operating mechanisms including organization and management mechanisms, propaganda and education mechanisms, safeguard and support mechanisms, legal regulatory mechanisms, internal restraint mechanisms and external monitoring mechanisms.
