日语里有许多委婉的表现形式,如使用含义不明确的副词和副助词、改换词语、句末添加丰富多彩的助词或助动词、会话中运用间接言语行为等。不同的表现形式包含有不同的语用功能,采用这些委婉的表现形式,其目的都是为了最终达到理想的交际效果。

There are many forms of euphemistic expressions in Japanese,such as： the use of ambiguous adverbs,adverbial auxiliaries,euphemism,sentences tagging with various auxiliaries and auxiliary verbs,and the use of indirect speech acts in conversations.Despite the difference of their forms of expression and their pragmatic functions,these euphemistic expressions are used to achieve an ideal communicative effect.
