Review of the Linguistic Turn in Historical Studies

历史学的语言学转向是西方后现代主义历史学家于20世纪六七十年代在充分吸收社会学、人类学、符号学的基础上所促成的一种史学研究范式的转变,其特点是把重心放在对历史语言的研究上,通过对历史著述的话语分析来展示历史的文本性、叙事性和修辞性,并由此认为历史是一种文学制品或想象之物。辩证地看待历史学的语言学转向,对于我们建构一种新的史学认识论和方法论具有建设性的意义。

The linguistic turn, which was developed on the basis of the theories of sociology, anthropology and semiology by western Post-Modernism historians in the sixties and seventies of the 20th century, means a new meth od turning in historical studies. It focuses on historical discourse, shows historical textivity, narrativity and rhetorictivity by analyzing history writings, and looks on the history as a literary writing or an imagination. It will be positive for us to build a new historical epistemology and methodology if we treat the linguistic turn in history dialectically.
