Cultural Function of Higher Education and Construction of Academic Culture Force

高等教育是以传承、创新文化为使命的,她以特有的文化资源优势,对社会承负着引领文化的重要功能。而要担负引领文化的社会责任,首先必须有学术文化的视角,在研究学术文化占大学文化主导地位的基础上,注重对学术文化力结构要素的分析,并从其基本内涵和要求出发,着力于对学术文化力构建的探讨和对人才队伍建设问题的热切关注。

Higher education takes the responsibility of carrying on and innovating culture,playing an avant-garde role in the development of culture for its own vantage point of cultural resources.However,its role as the cultural guidance should be viewed from the perspective of academic culture.By discussing the dominant position of academic culture in campus culture,this paper probes into the structure of academic culture force,and focuses on the construction and development of this force on various layers.It holds that the fulfillment of such a goal lies in a good understanding to the basic connotations and demands of this force,and due attention should be paid to the building of college teaching and scientific research staffs.
