Anatomy and Radiology of the Jaws,an Implication to Dental Implant

口腔种植手术并发症,与手术者对颌骨相关的应用解剖不熟悉有很大的关系。本文结合作者的临床和教学经验,对颌骨的相关应用解剖及其影像学特征做一系统简介,为口腔种植初学者在口腔种植设计和手术时提供参考。

Implant therapy is popular in dental practice.However,prosthetic complications in implant-supported protheses are common.Although most of the problems can be prevented by careful case selection and treatment planning,failures do occur and their management can sometimes be very demanding.With the author＇s clinical and teaching experience,the complications of dental implant surgery are mainly related with unfamiliar with the jaws anatomy.This article purposed to make a systemic review of anatomy and radiology of the jaws and aimed to help dental implant designs and operations for the beginners.
