A Study on the Resources in Sanjiangkou Nature Reserve and the Co-management of the Community

三江口自然保护区生物物种资源丰富,通过建立自然保护区开展生物多样性保护,周边社区的群众未能从保护区获得应有的经济利益,影响了保护区内生物多样性及生态环境的保护.通过社区共管",形成生态保护和经济可持续发展的机制,是三江口自然保护区急待解决的问题.

Sanjiang-kou Nature Reserve boasts rich bio-resources and the original purpose to establish the nature re- serves is to protect the biodiversity. However, the nature reserve hardly hrought any economic benefit to the people living in neighboring community and has hindered the protection of the hiodiversity and ecology in this area. As a result,the co- management of the community and the establishment of a sustainable ecological and economic development system is a key issue needed to he solved as soon as possile.
