Colorful Tomb Murals in Dongping Collected by Shandong Museum

巍巍大汉帝国,给我们留下了无数珍贵物质和精神财富,2007年山东东平县出土的一批彩色壁画墓,就是这些财富中一颗闪亮的珍珠。东平,历史文化悠久,尤其是在两汉时期兴盛一时,地属东平国,现境内有大量汉代文化遗存,目前发现遗址52处、墓地42处,集中在汉东平国都城周围。

Dongping County, which is located in the southeast of Shandong Province, boasts atime-honored history. During the Han Dynasty （206 BC-220 AD）, Dongping was very prosperous and was under the jurisdiction of Dongping Kingdom.
