Research Progress of S-100β Protein in the Nervous System Disease

S-100β蛋白是一种酸性钙结合蛋白,与脑损伤过程密切相关,并在神经系统疾病中发挥重要作用。S-100β蛋白除了与脑血管病有关外,还与癫痫、中枢系统感染、精神疾病及格林-巴利综合征等神经系统疾病有关。随着对S-100β蛋白的深入研究及测定方法的提高,该蛋白有望成为一项新的、有前景的神经系统疾病早期诊断标志物。现根据近年来文献报道,就其在神经系统疾病中的研究进展予以综述。

S-100β protein is a kind of acid calcium binding protein,which associates with brain injury closely,meanwhile,plays an important role in nervous system diseases.A growing number of studies shows that S-100β protein doesn′t only relate with cerebral vascular disease,but also with epilepsy,central neverous system infection disease,mental illness,guillain-barre syndrome and other nervous system diseases.With S-100β protein′s intensive study and improvement of testing method,it is expected to become a new,promising and early diagnosis of markers of the nervous system dideases.According to the recent documents,the review focuses on the progress of S-100β protein in the nervous system diseases.
